We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work in the corporate office located next to our 26,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Fort Walton Beach. The Marketing Manager should be a versatile individual who will lead our marketing strategy and promote product distribution on a nationwide basis in support of the company. This individual is responsible for all marketing plans involving advertising, public relations and media aspects for two brands. Some travel may be required for meetings, presentations, and trade shows. The qualified individual will possess excellent customer service skills, multi-tasking abilities and extreme organization and prioritization skills. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Sales Department to provide support for their needs in product marketing, as well as obtaining new avenues & contacts and fostering current partnerships. This is a unique position that works with multiple departments (Research & Development, Production, Shipping, etc.) and will require exceptional creative input, as well as valuable project management skills.The Marketing Manager's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:? Serve as the primary contact and corporate resource for all company marketing requirements? Responsible for developing and overseeing the proper execution of marketing plans involving advertising, public relations and marketing aspects for two brands? Constantly monitors industry and market trends? Perform in-depth market research and present findings in a concise manor? Coordinate with various clients and media contacts to communicate relevant information? Create marketing resource materials including brochures, press releases, newsletters, and other requests? Ability to work independently and as part of an overall team? Manage internship program? Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)? Marketing management focuses on the practical application of various marketing techniques as well as effective management of the company's marketing resources and activities? Create a demand for the product/service in the market which will generate a rise in the company's sales ? Collaborate with other departments, such as; Sales, R&D, Production, and Shipping? Accomplishes marketing and sales human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, and communicating job expectations? Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change? Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and promotion programs; developing field sales action plans? Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; establishing targeted market share.? Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development? Sustains rapport with key accounts; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities? Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends? Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential? Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations? Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed? Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases? Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars? Keeps promotional materials ready by creating graphics; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt? Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, new product information; relaying customer services requests? Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases? Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating materials and shipping/freight logisticsSkills/Qualifications: ? 5+ years experience in Marketing or related field? Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations (equivalent work experience in Marketing or related field accepted)? Advanced experience with marketing concepts & strategies, direct marketing, market segmentation, marketing research, coordination, project management, reporting research results, understanding the customer, process improvement, initiative, planning, positioning, people management, competitive analysis, product development, client relationships, creative services? Advanced communication skills -- written and verbal? Experience with social media, basic knowledge of SEO and website CMS? Must be able to work in a high stress work environment under strict deadlines? Ability to multitask and prioritize is critical?
